Over the past year we have all learned a lot, thought a lot, talked a lot and worked a lot...This process has caused many things to happen.

For example, we have seen the privatisation of the NHS slow down dramatically. This has been as a direct result of the work being done by the Keep Our NHS Public campaign, Start The Revolution and a whole host of medical professionals who have all made it their "business" to make a difference and through this continued effort we will be able to stop the process altogether.

We are winning and they are losing. It may not always feel like it but the mere fact that I am writing this and you are reading this proves that there are a growing number of people who have had enough of the lies and are turning to the "alternative" media to help them to understand the truth.

This has caused us to rethink our "Mission Statement" quite a lot.

It seems that twelve months ago when this all started there was a lot of anger and frustration in the work that we were doing and a general belief that people would not change and we would be fighting alone until "the end". Recently, however, amazing things have been happening. More and more people are getting involved. More and more people are seeking the truth. More and more people are saying "enough is enough". These changes are affecting the ability of "them" to do their work...and dramatically!

The UK government has recently performed a turnaround over privatisation of the NHS due to the work of a great deal of dedicated people.

The US government has been "found out" and reported upon by the New York Times over Dubya's latest domestic spying policy using the SWIFT money transfer system.

The FBI in Miami has been made to look very, very silly by the likes of Geraldo and many others who realise that arresting a few kids with no weapons, motivation or actual plan for conspiring to commit a terrorist act is just ridiculous.

The Metropolitan Police in London had to issue yet another apology for shooting yet another innocent civilian. Although I do like to think that the work being done by websites just like this one was responsible for ensuring that the officer fired only one shot that morning instead of a dozen as they did in the case of Jean Charles de Menezes.

PEOPLE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE AND THEY ARE MAKING A DIFFERENCE, A BIG DIFFERENCE.

So, with that in mind, our "Mission Statement" has become very different from that of one year ago.

Our Mission is to rid ourselves of the shackles placed upon us by governments and secret governments who wish nothing more than to subjugate and enslave us into a system solely designed to perpetually create more wealth and power for them.

We will do this by simply refusing to obey their unnecessary and flawed rules.

Our Mission is to help people, including ourselves, to understand the truth about the world we live in.

We will do this by reading, watching, talking, thinking, writing and experiencing everything that we can to ensure that the information given on these pages is as honest and factual as possible (although I am sure that there will still be the odd "leap of sarcasm" here and there!)

Our Mission is to expose the lies and corruption that are prevalent in governments and secret governments, which eat away at democracy, truth and justice rather than doing what they are supposed to do and protecting them.

We will do this by providing the information required to see and understand the lies behind the media spin that is put on almost every story in almost every publication by simply referring to the researchable facts and presenting the common sense "gut reaction".

Our Mission is to offer suggestions and advice on ways that everybody can get involved in the fight to regain our independence, our choice and our freedoms.

We will do this by organising campaigns of civil disobedience that would place the government in a position of having to lock up so many people that it would be impossible for them to do so. It will also gradually erode their power leaving them with a simple choice...

Either you are with the citizens...Or you are against us!

The very design of human beings ensures that we cannot and will not accept the repression, enslavement and imprisonment that "they" wish to thrust upon us. That is why they use these things when you have broken their laws...Because they are a punishment. To do this to an entire society innocent or guilty, rich or poor, white or black, is to cage the most beautiful creature on the planet and that is simply wrong.

Ultimately, we must destroy, rebuild and recreate the entire structure of government and society. Exactly what this new structure will be nobody really knows but with the experience that we have as a race it will be easier to recognise the mistakes of the past and try harder to not repeat them.

No system of government is perfect and many would say that democracy is the "least bad" option from a list of bad choices. We believe that the only thing at fault here is the list itself.

It is time to rewrite the list...It is time to rewrite the future by understanding the past and present...It is time to stand up and be counted like so many others are doing...
