Welcome to our all-new torrents section...Torrents with a twist!

In the past we offered a plethora of videos for download that we felt you may be interested in and we did this using a fair use policy notice. This notice meant that as we were making no money from the videos then it was ok that the copyright holder did not either...The logic was clearly flawed!

The very idea that a copyright holder can have his or her work strewn across the internet at no cost may sound like a great marketing concept but the reality is much more brutal than that. In the process of choosing the videos we spent hundreds of hours watching hundreds of documentaries to decide which were the best few on any given topic. This is where the biggest problem was...We were letting people have the best work of the best filmmakers at no charge.

This simply means that the filmmakers have no income from their videos and thus no more videos are going to be made by them. The truth is that we really need to focus on getting more of these videos made by these people and not less and whilst our idea of making that information available to the general public was one meant with good intent, a mistake was clearly being made.

Easy really, isn't it?!??!

Therefore, with that in mind, we have created the following idea...

The torrents here are available for download at no charge and with the full permission of the copyright owner. The torrent files are all hosted on separate, personalised pages some of which will feature a donate button. This button will take you directly to the copyright owners donations page and Start The Revolution will receive no monies whatsoever from your donation.

Should you choose to buy the full version of the video then a link is, where possible, also available. This will also take you to directly to the copyright holder’s pages and might, in some cases, involve a small referral fee for Start The Revolution.

We hope that you like the new pages and also hope that you will choose to donate to or even buy copies of the videos that you find most interesting and informative.

These people are asking for no more than £1 or £2 of your money for all of their time, hard work and investment.

We think that is a pretty good deal!
